random thought:

Which side of the road do Canadians drive on?

This has been bothering me all week. Don't know why, but eh there you have it.

Do they take after us, and drive on the right? Or do they drive on the left like the Brits?

Mexico drives on the right like us... But what about the Central American countries, or the South American countries?

What about Australia or New Zealand? And WHO decided who drives where? Damn it I need to know!

Having driven there within the last year, I can say for suer that Canucks drive on the same side of teh road we do. Their traffic sings are the same colors, but different text and shape, and you don't feel half as rushed trying to get places..., Must be because its so damn big ;)

Canadians drive on the same side of the road as Americans do, and I think that has a great deal to do with the fact that we share a continent. I mean, it's not exactly practical to drive across the border and all of a sudden have your car be backwards, knaamean?

Australia and New Zealand, on the other hand, follow the British model and cars drive on the left in those countries.
